Teaching children about Jesus is so important! From infancy to toddlers in our Ridge Kids nursery to pre-school and elementary students in Alive Kid's Church, we want every child to know that we love them and Jesus loves them! We have services for our kid's departments on Sunday Morning and during our Wednesday Midweek.

Ignite for middle school and Kadesh for high school students strives to teach and train young men and women to become disciples of Jesus today! We work to provide Holy Spirit led worship services on campus, steward fellowship and growth with one another through group trips and conferences, and pour the love of Christ into this generation for the glory of God! Our worship services for middle school and high school take place during our Wednesday Midweek services.

Growth and learning doesn't end at high school graduation; it is a lifelong endeavor! Our Discovery Young Adults meet during our Wednesday Midweek services on campus and dive deep into the Word of God! Along with the deep dive, we strive to make room for every gift God has given to this generation, providing areas to be the hands and feet of Jesus through many areas one can serve!

As we grow and mature in life, we face new seasons! From having children to grandchildren, navigating the balance between the personal and professional areas of our life, and learning how to keep God centered through it all can be a struggle. As men and women often deal with the issues of life in different ways, we have dedicated classes for both during our Wednesday Midweek services! There, we dive deep into the word and work out how the Word applies to us as we grow together!

Along with our Wednesday Midweek services geared for all ages, we invite everyone to participate in our traditional Sunday School small groups! Meeting at 9:45 on Sunday Morning, we have knowledgable teachers leading their class deeper into the Word at the level that allows them to grow! So whether you are age 5 or 75, everyone has a place they can come and grow deeper in God's Word!

On Sunday mornings at 10:40 and on Sunday evenings at 5, we come together to Worship and hear the Word from the Lord! During the morning service, Alive Kids meet in the Children's Church while the rest of the congregation meet in the Sanctuary! During the evening service, everyone gathers in the Sanctuary to Worship as one body of believers!

In addition to all the above ministries, Velvet Ridge is involved in local, state, and international ministries ranging from helping the needy, supporting local outreach such as food pantries and nursing homes, to overseas missions! It is our desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in every area we are able to serve!
