Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Why we give.

God is generous and has always been the first to give. He gave of himself in creation and has continued to give of himself throughout time to humanity through various means. As he has set the example, he invites us to give also. In this, we support the ministry of the church to continue building the Kingdom of God, and in return we open our lives to the blessings that are tied to our giving (Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:7-12).
